...but for the right couple, it's the most freeing way to celebrate a marriage.
Because that's what it's all about, right? Celebrating the love between two best friends.
For you, it's not the floral centrepieces, or cake, or limo, or DJ or even 157 of your closest people. It's not the Save The Dates, lanterns, pillar candles, rose gold cutlery, charger plates or the late night food.
Don't get me wrong - these aren't bad things. In fact, they're great things! Special things, delicious things, things made by really talented, creative people. And we recommend these things all the time to the couples that want them because they're awesome.
They're just not...your thing.
And on one of the biggest days of your life, wouldn't you rather live out your version of what celebrating your marriage looks like, instead of how everyone else tells you to celebrate it?
When I first started dreaming of what an elopement should look like, I wrote down these three things:
1. Must be intimate
2. Must be awesome
3. Must involve a helicopter (because everything is more awesome with a chopper!)
That was basically as far as I got. I knew the location had to be incredible and had to provide a view that would take your breath away, and I knew I needed a few wildly talented photographers who could capture the adventure and deliver something worth blowing up and hanging in your bedroom/living room/every room.
I think this photo tells you everything you need to know about how good the photos will be.
Maybe the words elope or elopement have a negative association in your mind. Maybe the first picture that comes to mind is getting married by Elvis in a Vegas chapel, or in our grandparents age where it likely meant a last minute wedding on a super tight budget (read: less than what you paid for your last smartphone).
There's nothing wrong with either of those.
That just isn't the kind of elopement we've put together.
(and in case you were wondering, sorry, I won't dress up as Elvis)
We wanted to create something amazing, something memorable and something you could look back on in 10, 15 or 20 years and say, "remember when we eloped? That was awesome, I'm so happy we did that!"
Eloping puts 100% of the focus on the marriage, the moment and the love between two people, and away from everything else that could distract from it.
I don't like hidden fees or costs. The starting cost of a Monday-Thursday elopement (including everything below), is $8999+HST.
What does starting at mean?
Well, if you decided you wanted to fly the chopper to the Rocky Mountains, or land it in Times Square, the price maaaaaay be affected. The biggest cost associated with the elopement, as you may have guessed, is flight time. But we'll chat about all that when we connect!
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are the most requested wedding days and are often booked 12-18 months in advance. Because of that, the elopement package is offered exclusively between Monday and Thursday.
Take a look below for what's included!
A comfy, once in a lifetime chopper ride on a 6 seater helicopter to (and from) your awesome ceremony location!
I'm a storyteller and 34 years in, I like to think I'm pretty good at it by now, but I'll let you be the judge. We'd work together to create something truly great.
Maybe a private island, maybe a beach, maybe at a lookout point with a ridiculous view. We'll figure it out together, or you can just leave it in my hands and we'll find somewhere amazing. Finding the perfect location is all part of the fun!
You'll have bragging rights the rest of your life. Trust me.
I know you're going to want to relive this over and over. And honestly, what better way to share the experience with your family and friends than by showing them your elopement highlight film?
Timothy Muza and Alex Briere are the mega-talented videographers on our team that are available to capture the magic!
-2-3 minute highlight film
-Delivered to you in 3-4 weeks
A 50% deposit (by credit card, processed using Square, or e-transfer) and a signed Contract secures your date. If you’d rather pay the total upfront, that’s great! If not, the remainder is due 2 weeks prior.
The easiest way to figure this out is to answer these questions:
Does the idea of an adventure to celebrate your marriage sound amazing?
Are you super excited to marry your best friend?
Do you want to skip all the little details, and just get right to the good stuff?
Do you love pizza? (see what I did there?)
If you answered yes to any of those questions, eloping might be a great fit for you!
The next thing I would do is watch this video. It tells the entire story of this couples incredible elopement perfectly.
Give it a watch, get excited, and reach out! Let's get planning!
If you're ready for a crazy adventure celebrating your marriage, we should talk. Scroll down a bit and hit the Get In Touch button and tell me how excited you are to be married to your best friend, and let's get the chopper running.
See you on a private island, saying your "I do's!"
